This event is free to the public and lessons on rules and play will be available to all! Join us as we learn about the game of pickleball, the equipment used as well as the rules of the game.

Four Square will be available for children to play while adults learn and play pickleball!

Pickleball is a paddleball sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and table tennis. Two or four players use solid paddles made of wood or composite materials to hit a perforated polymer ball, with 26-40 round holes, over a net. The sport shares features of other racquet sports: the dimensions and layout of a badminton court, and a net and rules somewhat similar to tennis, with several modifications. Pickleball was invented in the mid 1960’s as a children's backyard game.

*We will be practicing social distancing and maintaining our Covid 19 regulations regarding number of people on the courts at one time.
