Eagle Scout donates his time and skills to the Y

Have you noticed our new sign that was installed earlier this year!? It is really a wonderful story! Andrew Marston, a Life Scout from Dover Troop 61 reached out to our facility wishing to do something for us. Upon meeting Andrew and learning of his skills and handiness, it was decided he would raise money to help us replace our sign.

Andrew spent the winter selling wreaths to raise money for supplies. He worked hard with the help of his family and local companies to correct an outdated sign, remove the old structure, insert the new posts and install the sign at the end of our driveway.

When the project was complete, Andrew was able to donate an additional $400 to our YMCA!

We'd like to send our greatest appreciation to Andrew and his family, as well as his Eagle Scout Leaders for assisting him with his project! We are so grateful for our community and their generosity, like Andrew!
