CHEERING SKILL WEEK

August 4th to August 8th 

 

For Children entering

5^th, 6^th and 7^th grade

5:00 - 7:00 p.m.

 

This skill week is especially for those girls who want to learn more during the summer months. The children will learn sideline chants, and the basics of cheering.  This skill week is for those cheerleaders who want to learn more technique, rhythm and form, and possibly try out for a cheerleading squad.  Cheering Skill Week will be held at the PRYMCA. 

$5.00 Registration Fee.

SOCCER SKILL WEEK  

Monday, July 21^st  to Friday, July 25^th

Session1:  Pre-K (must be 4 yrs. old and potty trained) to 2^nd grade.  5:00 – 6:00 p.m.

Session 2:  3^rd to 6^th grade

Both groups are coed. 6:00 – 7:00 p.m.

Soccer Skill Week will be held at the Dover Fairgrounds each night. Boys and Girls welcome for Soccer Skill Week.

HORSE BACK RIDING SKILL WEEK

Infinity Farm is offering a horseback riding week.  Kids have TONS of fun at Infinity Farms and their programs keep growing every year.

Infinity Farm trains both riders and horses & ponies from the ground up, from the newborn to the newly acquired, Gail McCormick and her staff have years of experience in all disciplines training the horse and/or pony.

Infinity Farm trains in English, Western, Jumping, and Dressage, from the beginner to the advanced rider of any age. They have students from age 4 to 70's.

The PRYMCA horse week will be instructed by Angela Coy.  Angela comes to Infinity Farms with a vast background of equine knowledge. After riding with a local trainer for ten years and focusing on the techniques of Centered Riding when applied to “three-phase eventing”, Angie is experienced riding with some of the eras top hunter-jumper and dressage trainers, in West Chester County, New York.

Upon moving back home to Maine Angie met Peggy Gilbert and her Icelandic Horses and fell in love with this gaited breed of horse. She has since participated in an Ice Tolt competition in Dillsburg, PA and has been invited to ride in representation of the United States Icelandic Horse Congress at the 2004 Equine Affair in Springfield, MA.

While training and marketing the Icelandic Horse, Angie also finds time to teach riding lessons at Infinity Farms and takes her students to local equitation shows, keeps a couple of horses in training and competes state-wide with her own eight year-old gelding Infinite Reality, an AQHA registered Quarter Horse.

SIGN UP EARLY, SPACE IS LIMITED

Horseback riding week is limited to 12 children, ages 7 - 13.  The skill builders program will run for 20 hours with a registration fee $125.00 which must be paid before attending this enrichment program.

The original value of this enrichment program is $250.00.  Registration will begin in June. 

Let your child experience the excitement and personal fulfillment of horseback riding. 

Due to the fee reduction, scholarships are not available for this enrichment program.

 

 

FLAG FOOTBALL

SKILL WEEK

FIELD HOCKEY SKILL WEEK

 

August 11^th to August 15^th

 

Children will learn the fundamentals of Field Hockey and the basics of passing and scoring.  Children will be required to wear shin guards and mouth guards.  Field Hockey will be held at the Dover Fairgrounds from 5:00 – 6:00 p.m.
